180-DAY REPLACEMENT WARRANTY POLICY
Last Updated: January 5th, 2026
AUTO PARTS HP LLC ("AUTO PARTS HP," "we," "us," or "our") provides a 180-Day Replacement Warranty on eligible automotive parts sold by AUTO PARTS HP LLC, subject to the conditions and exclusions described below.
This warranty is intended to provide customers with a replacement remedy when an eligible product experiences a qualifying defect during the warranty period.
This is a replacement warranty. It is not a 180-day return or refund policy.
1. 180-DAY WARRANTY PERIOD
Eligible products are covered for 180 calendar days beginning on the date of confirmed delivery to the customer.
A qualifying warranty claim must be reported to AUTO PARTS HP LLC during this 180-day period.
Expiration of the warranty period ends eligibility for replacement under this policy unless a longer manufacturer, distributor, supplier, or other third-party warranty separately applies.
2. REPLACEMENT-ONLY WARRANTY
The remedy provided under the AUTO PARTS HP LLC 180-Day Replacement Warranty is replacement of an eligible defective product.
After the separate 14-day return period expires, an approved warranty claim does not entitle the customer to a refund solely because the product experienced a qualifying defect.
An approved claim will instead be processed for an appropriate replacement in accordance with this policy, except where a different remedy is required by applicable law.
3. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RETURNS AND WARRANTY CLAIMS
AUTO PARTS HP LLC maintains two separate periods:
First 14 Days After Delivery: An eligible unused product may qualify for return under our Shipping & Returns Policy. For buyer's-remorse returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping.
First 180 Days After Delivery: An eligible product experiencing a qualifying defect may qualify for replacement under this Warranty Policy.
The 180-Day Replacement Warranty does not extend the 14-day return period.
4. WARRANTY SHIPPING
For an approved 180-Day Replacement Warranty claim, the customer is not responsible for applicable standard shipping costs associated with returning the qualifying defective product and receiving the authorized replacement.
AUTO PARTS HP LLC will provide or authorize the applicable shipping procedure.
Customers should not independently ship a warranty product unless instructed to do so.
Unauthorized shipping expenses may not be reimbursed.
5. BUYER'S REMORSE IS NOT A WARRANTY CLAIM
The 180-Day Replacement Warranty does not cover buyer's remorse.
Examples include:
Customer changes their mind;
Customer no longer wants the product;
Customer no longer needs the product;
Customer sells or disposes of the vehicle;
Customer decides not to perform the repair;
Customer orders the wrong product;
Customer provides incorrect vehicle information; or
Customer otherwise no longer wants the product.
Such returns must qualify under the separate 14-Day Return Policy.
6. WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS
Subject to this policy, the warranty applies to eligible products experiencing a qualifying defect in material, manufacture, or function during the applicable 180-day period.
The existence of a vehicle problem after installation does not by itself establish that the purchased product is defective.
7. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE
Customers who believe a product is defective must contact AUTO PARTS HP LLC before returning the product.
Customers may be asked to provide:
Order number;
Proof of purchase;
Product name;
Part number;
Serial number;
Date of delivery;
Date of installation;
Vehicle year;
Vehicle make and model;
VIN;
Engine information;
Current vehicle mileage;
Mileage at installation;
Description of the problem;
Diagnostic trouble codes;
Photographs or video;
Diagnostic documentation;
Installation invoice; and
Other information reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.
8. WARRANTY AUTHORIZATION
A warranty claim must be reviewed and approved before a replacement is issued.
AUTO PARTS HP LLC may require the allegedly defective product to be returned for inspection.
Submission of a warranty claim does not automatically establish that the product is defective or that the claim is covered.
9. PRODUCT INSPECTION
The allegedly defective product may be inspected by AUTO PARTS HP LLC or an applicable supplier, distributor, manufacturer, remanufacturer, repair facility, or other warranty provider.
Inspection may evaluate whether the product failed because of a covered defect or an excluded external condition.
10. PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION
Automotive parts frequently require specialized tools, technical knowledge, diagnostic equipment, programming, calibration, correct fluids, torque specifications, and specific installation procedures.
Customers are strongly encouraged to have appropriate components installed by qualified automotive professionals.
For certain major, electronic, programmed, or specialized components, proof of professional installation may be required to establish warranty eligibility where such a requirement was disclosed for the product.
11. MISDIAGNOSIS
A product does not qualify as defective merely because replacing it failed to resolve a vehicle problem.
Automotive symptoms frequently have multiple possible causes.
Warranty coverage may not apply where:
The vehicle was incorrectly diagnosed;
Another component caused the problem;
The purchased component was not the cause of the original symptoms;
Additional repairs are necessary;
Required programming or calibration was not completed; or
Installation was incorrect.
12. IMPROPER INSTALLATION
Warranty coverage may be denied where product damage or failure was caused by improper installation.
This may include failure to follow applicable:
Manufacturer instructions;
Supplier instructions;
Torque specifications;
Programming requirements;
Calibration requirements;
Fluid requirements;
Lubrication requirements;
Cooling-system procedures; or
Other required installation practices.
13. ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS
Electrical components may be damaged by problems elsewhere in a vehicle.
External causes may include:
Short circuits;
Incorrect voltage;
Wiring faults;
Improper grounding;
Battery problems;
Charging-system problems;
Water intrusion;
Failed related modules;
Improper programming; and
Incorrect installation.
Damage caused by an external vehicle electrical condition does not constitute a product defect under this warranty.
14. PROGRAMMING AND CALIBRATION
Certain automotive products require programming, coding, flashing, relearning, calibration, initialization, or adaptation.
Failure to perform a required procedure does not establish that the component is defective and may affect warranty eligibility if it caused or contributed to product failure.
15. ENGINES, TRANSMISSIONS AND MAJOR ASSEMBLIES
The 180-Day Replacement Warranty may apply to eligible major assemblies sold by AUTO PARTS HP LLC, including eligible:
Engines;
Transmissions;
Transfer cases;
Differentials;
Axle assemblies; and
Other major drivetrain components.
Such components may have additional installation and claim requirements because of their complexity.
16. PRE-INSTALLATION INSPECTION
Before installation of a major assembly or other substantial component, the customer or installer should verify:
Correct application;
Part number;
Vehicle configuration;
Physical condition;
Mounting arrangement;
Required fluids;
Cooling-system condition;
Electrical connections;
Supporting components; and
Applicable installation requirements.
If a product appears incorrect or damaged before installation, installation should stop and AUTO PARTS HP LLC should be contacted.
17. ENGINE REQUIREMENTS
Engine warranty claims may require evidence that appropriate installation and maintenance procedures were followed.
Damage resulting from conditions including:
Overheating;
Oil starvation;
Improper lubrication;
Contamination;
Improper fluids;
Cooling-system failure;
Incorrect installation; or
Failure of an external component
may not constitute a warrantable engine defect.
18. TRANSMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Transmission installations may require:
Correct transmission fluid;
Cooler inspection, flushing, or replacement;
Filter replacement;
Proper torque-converter procedures;
Electronic programming;
Relearning or adaptation procedures; and
Inspection of related drivetrain components.
Damage resulting from failure to perform applicable installation procedures may not qualify as a warrantable defect.
19. ACCESSORY COMPONENTS ON MAJOR ASSEMBLIES
A major assembly may be supplied with attached components for convenience or because they were present on the sourced assembly.
Unless expressly included in the product description or warranty, ancillary or accessory components attached to a major assembly may not necessarily receive the same warranty coverage as the principal assembly.
20. GENERAL WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
The 180-Day Replacement Warranty does not cover failure or damage caused by:
Improper installation;
Incorrect application;
Customer misdiagnosis;
Accident or collision;
Abuse;
Misuse;
Neglect;
Unauthorized modification;
Improper maintenance;
Incorrect fluids;
Lack of lubrication;
Overheating;
Contamination;
Electrical faults;
Water intrusion;
Improper programming;
Improper calibration;
External component failure;
Physical damage occurring after delivery;
Racing or competition use where inappropriate for the product;
Continued operation after a known failure; or
Other conditions unrelated to a defect in the supplied product.
21. NORMAL WEAR
The warranty is intended to cover qualifying defects, not ordinary deterioration resulting from normal use.
Normal wear, maintenance items, and consumable components are not considered defective merely because they require replacement during ordinary vehicle operation.
22. MODIFIED PRODUCTS
Products materially altered, modified, disassembled, improperly repaired, or used outside their intended application may not qualify for warranty replacement where the alteration or misuse caused or contributed to the claimed failure.
23. USED AND REMANUFACTURED PRODUCTS
Products expressly sold as used, rebuilt, reconditioned, or remanufactured may have product-specific conditions disclosed at the time of sale.
Where the AUTO PARTS HP LLC 180-Day Replacement Warranty applies to such a product, the applicable replacement remedy remains subject to this policy and any disclosed product-specific requirements.
Reasonable cosmetic wear on a used or remanufactured product does not by itself constitute a functional defect.
24. PERFORMANCE AND OFF-ROAD PRODUCTS
Products designed for performance, competition, racing, or off-road applications may be subject to product-specific warranty limitations.
Damage caused by use outside the product's intended design or operating limits may not qualify for warranty replacement.
25. REPLACEMENT PRODUCT
Once a warranty claim is approved, AUTO PARTS HP LLC will arrange an appropriate replacement.
Where reasonably available, the replacement will be the same or substantially equivalent product.
If an identical product is unavailable, AUTO PARTS HP LLC may source an appropriate compatible replacement of comparable type, application, and function.
26. REPLACEMENT SHIPPING
For an approved warranty claim, AUTO PARTS HP LLC will cover applicable standard shipping associated with the authorized replacement process.
This includes applicable standard shipping for returning a qualifying defective product when AUTO PARTS HP LLC requires its return and standard shipping of the authorized replacement.
This differs from a buyer's-remorse return under the 14-Day Return Policy, for which the customer is responsible for return shipping.
27. RETURN OF DEFECTIVE PRODUCT
AUTO PARTS HP LLC may require the allegedly defective product to be returned as a condition of receiving a warranty replacement.
Where we require the return of a product for an approved warranty claim, appropriate standard return-shipping arrangements will be provided or authorized by AUTO PARTS HP LLC.
The customer must reasonably cooperate with the return process.
28. REPLACEMENT DOES NOT CREATE A NEW 180-DAY PERIOD
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing or required by applicable law, issuance of a replacement product does not restart the original 180-day warranty period.
The replacement remains covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.
29. LABOR COSTS
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing or required by applicable law, the 180-Day Replacement Warranty covers the eligible replacement product and applicable authorized standard shipping—not labor expenses.
AUTO PARTS HP LLC does not ordinarily reimburse:
Diagnostic labor;
Removal labor;
Installation labor;
Reinstallation labor;
Programming labor; or
Calibration labor.
30. INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL EXPENSES
Unless expressly provided otherwise in writing or required by applicable law, the warranty does not cover expenses such as:
Towing;
Rental vehicles;
Vehicle storage;
Vehicle downtime;
Lost income;
Lost business;
Diagnostic charges;
Fluids;
Programming;
Calibration;
Hotel expenses;
Transportation expenses; or
Unrelated replacement components.
31. UNAUTHORIZED REPAIRS OR REPLACEMENT PURCHASES
Customers should contact AUTO PARTS HP LLC before authorizing repairs to an allegedly defective product or independently purchasing a replacement and expecting reimbursement.
Warranty claims should be submitted and authorized before replacement arrangements are made.
Unauthorized expenses may not be reimbursed.
32. THIRD-PARTY WARRANTIES
Certain products may carry a manufacturer's, distributor's, supplier's, or remanufacturer's warranty in addition to the AUTO PARTS HP LLC warranty.
A third-party warranty may provide different or additional rights and may continue beyond the AUTO PARTS HP LLC 180-day period.
Applicable third-party warranty terms are controlled by the party issuing that warranty.
33. FRAUDULENT WARRANTY CLAIMS
AUTO PARTS HP LLC reserves the right to reject claims involving reasonably established:
Product substitution;
Serial-number alteration;
Intentional damage;
Material misrepresentation;
False documentation;
Return of a different product from the product purchased; or
Other fraudulent activity.
34. CONSUMER RIGHTS
Nothing in this Warranty Policy is intended to eliminate or restrict a warranty, remedy, or consumer-protection right that cannot legally be waived.
35. RELATIONSHIP TO THE RETURN POLICY
The 14-Day Return Policy and 180-Day Replacement Warranty serve different purposes.
The 14-Day Return Policy provides a limited period during which an eligible unused product may be returned, including for buyer's remorse, subject to the Shipping & Returns Policy.
The 180-Day Replacement Warranty provides a replacement remedy for qualifying defects.
It does not provide a 180-day right to return products for a refund.
